Full Description

The United States Marine Corps (USMC), Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Foreign Military Sales Office (FMSO) at Quantico, VA intends to modify existing Contract No. M67854-04-C-2019 to procure, on other than full and open competition basis, Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS), in support of the Bahrain AN/TPS-59(V)3B Radar set to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Maritime Systems & Sensors - Syracuse, 497 Electronics Parkway #5 #BLD, Liverpool, NY 13088-5394 in order to provide CETS to the Government of Bahrain (GoB). This procurement is a follow-on effort in support of a Foreign Military Sale to the GoB and is deemed to be available only from Lockheed Martin Corporation, as the original source of required expertise. The CETS support will encompass on-the-job site training in the operation, maintenance, repair and modification, and technical assistance in troubleshooting and repair of system malfunctions of the radar set as well as associated equipment. The period of performance for this effort is a twelve (12) month base award. The place of performance is Liverpool, New York and Bahrain. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; no formal solicitation package is available. However, all proposals received within thirty (30) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
