Automated Vehicle Location and Monitoring System (Dept. of Public Works)

Suffolk County is soliciting proposals under RFP 2026-13 for a web-based Automated Vehicle Location and Monitoring (AVLM) system to support the Department of Public Works Fleet Services. The selected contractor will be responsible for the installation, implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of AVLM hardware and software, including onboard GPS devices and mobile applications for Android and iPhone. The system must provide real-time vehicle tracking with refresh rates of 10 seconds or less, diagnostics, and routing capabilities.
