Bank stabilization and restoration of San Mateo Creek at 198 Bridge Road

The Town of Hillsborough is seeking a contractor for the bank stabilization and restoration of San Mateo Creek at 198 Bridge Road in Hillsborough, California. The project involves the modification of approximately 134 feet of the south bank to remediate severe erosion that occurred during the winter flows of December 2022 and January 2023. The primary scope of work includes the removal of unpermitted sackrete revetment and its replacement with a restored natural bank featuring boulder revetment, anchored large wood structures, and inter-plantings of willow, dogwood, and bay laurel.
