The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to negotiate with Long Term Care Partners, LLC on a sole source basis for the performance period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The total estimated value for this sole source contract is $308,689,031.73. OPM intends to issue this sole source contract based on the requirements necessary to continue services to the Federal population without disruption. As stated in the sole source justification published, only one contractor has the ability to perform the work required under this contract and the necessary information technology (IT) system approvals in place to protect the Personal Identifiable Information (PII) of the Federal workforce and annuitants. The NAICS code is 524292, Third Party Administration of Insurance and Pension Funds. This is not a request for proposals (RFP) from interested parties. OPM may release an unrestricted competitive acquisition for the BENEFEDS contract within the next year.
