Scope: The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) seeks to establish a contract with a qualified firm for the provision of labor, equipment, materials and supplies for a comprehensive multiyear maintenance program. The program includes eighty-one (81) existing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Stations and Transit Centers and options for expansion which may include but is not limited to, five (5) additional locations planned in Kearny Mesa, additional restrooms, transit stations and parking facilities throughout the MTS system.This scope of work (SOW) establishes maintenance standards for the BRT Stations and Transit Centers, a component of MTS’s Rapid-branded bus service. All work performed under this contract shall be performed in a skillful manner and shall conform to all applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations, industry codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all MTS contract special provisions and terms and conditions. The contract term shall be for seven (7) years, effective March 1, 2027, through February 28, 2034.
