Full Description

NSWC PNYA Bldg 1000 - DDG‐51 MCS 4 Lab This TF-1 is to complete a detailed design and cost estimate for a new lab space to support DDG-51 MCS 4. The intended location for the new lab space is located in the Northeast corner of the second floor of Bldg. 1000. Currently rooms 283-285, 254A, & 256 - 258 are being considered to meet the requirement. The design shall evaluate combining the spaces to create 1 to 3 new lab areas to support the DDG-51 MCS 4 lab requirements. Design shall include modifications and alterations necessary to support the lab requirements and to bring the space(s) into compliance with current codes and standards. The intent is for the lab space(s) to utilize raised floors and be capable of supporting a modular or adjustable lab layout. Design shall include HVAC, mechanical / electrical / plumbing, fire alarm & suppression, egress / access, etc. Requested award date is Q4 FY25. Requested period of performance is 9 months or less.
