The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) conducts military training exercises at various locations in the USA for periods of up to two months. The soldiers are fed using portable field kitchens at the training location. Due to the security requirements for those locations the Suppliers often need to be accompanied into the training site or must offload the food at the entrance to the site (when not permitted to enter the site). As a result it is preferable to award one contract for all food and non-food items required to one Supplier to limit the number of deliveries and training disruptions.
The RFP is only emailed to SA holders of W6399-23DB05. If other bidders are interested in submitting a proposal they will have to qualify for Supply Arrangement W6399-23DB05 before they are given an opportunity to bid on this requirement.
