The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207) is seeking industry input for a follow-on Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract to maintain and support the United States Marine Corps C-12W aircraft fleet. This effort will continue the services presently provided under the CMMARS contract, currently performed by Vertex Aerospace LLC, which expires in October 2027. The CLS requirement encompasses a wide range of services, including site activation and support, inventory and government property management, depot-level maintenance and modifications, component repair and overhaul, contractor field teams, supply support, as well as maintenance and calibration of support equipment. The aircraft involved are FAA-certified Beechcraft King Air 350 CER derivatives, modified with specific government equipment requiring specialized certification and repair capabilities at multiple sites both within the continental United States and overseas. Performance locations span key military installations and bases globally, including NSA Bahrain, NSA Guantanamo Bay, several Marine Corps Air Stations across the US and Japan, Naval Air Facilities, and sites in Germany. An industry day is planned for July 2026 to present program requirements and facilitate collaboration between government and industry. A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is scheduled for release in October 2026, with a final competitive RFP expected around February 2027 and contract awards targeted for late FY 2027. Interested parties, including small businesses, are invited to submit a capabilities statement detailing relevant experience, technical skills, subcontractor management, and business profiles, along with the ability to meet at least 50% of contract performance with their own personnel. Submissions must be made electronically by June 24, 2026, and while this announcement is for planning purposes only and not a solicitation, it provides important insight into the acquisition strategy and upcoming opportunities.
