Contractor to provide Architect Engineering Services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports and costs estimates, including services throughout construction period for a project titled "Project Mental Health Safety Improvements, B160" Project No. 621-08-106 for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mtn Home, Tennessee. Area of consideration is limited to a 500 mile radius of James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Firms desiring consideration must submit THREE copies of SF 330, not later than 2:00 PM CT, 1-21-08. NAICS 541330. Contract award is subject to the availability of VA Funds. A/E Selection criteria will include: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for performance of required services; 2) Specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firm with similar type projects, a minimum of 5 Hospital projects of similar nature; 3) past performance on contracts with Government agencies; 4) Location of A/E firm; 5) experience and roles of key design personnel, specifically on related projects; 6) cost control and estimating effectiveness. This is not a request for proposal. Construction Cost Range: $25,000 to $100,000.
