The NYS Unified Court System’s (UCS) Office of Justice Court Support (OJCS) has procured the services of the Perception Institute to create and produce a second video for OJCS’ annual training program that commences in January 2027. Perception Institute previously developed a video for the Core 2025 training program, delivered in January 2025 which featured retired Judges and Court Clerks discussing their experience in Town and Village Courts courtroom management practices, and fulfillment of the annual anti-bias training requirement mandated by the Rules of the Chief Judge. The first video was designed with a planned continuation. The proposed second video (subject to this request) would also feature retired Judges and Court Clerks and will present a series of realistic scenarios commonly encountered in Town and Village Courts, demonstrating appropriate responses and best practices. This video would satisfy the annual anti-bias requirement and will serve as a continuation of the original production. This is a single source contract notification.
