The Marine Corps Systems Command plans to enter into a sole source contract with Vermont System Services valued at approximately $816,288 for an automated Child and Youth Management Information System (CYMS). This system builds upon the initial implementation completed by Vermont Systems at MCAS Yuma and MCAS Cherry Point, aiming to further deploy a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) information system that is tailored to meet the specific interfacing and reporting needs of the USMC’s Child, Youth, and Teen Programs. The contract includes a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods, ensuring continued support and enhancement of the CYMS. The system integrates with the existing RecTrac recreation management software developed by Vermont Systems, which is already in use across Marine Corps Semper Fit and Recreation Business Operations facilities to manage demographic and usage data and standardize program management. The CYMS functions as a module within the centralized client/server RecTrac environment, requiring minimal customization while fully supporting the management and control requirements for activities under the Marine Corps Children, Youth, and Teen Programs. No competitive bidding process is available as this is a sole source acquisition, but other interested parties may submit statements of capability within 15 days of the announcement date. The contract originates from the Department of Defense’s Marine Corps Systems Command office located in Quantico, Virginia, and reflects ongoing efforts to provide standardized, automated tools to improve service delivery and program management consistency across Marine Corps youth-related services.
