In 2025 Operational Services identified the need for Frontline Leader training around conflict management, conflict resolution, and effective communication in leadership. Building on a proven track record of leadership development using the Crucial Conversations methodology, Operational Services proceeded to upskill additional City of Calgary facilitators to continue to deliver this well received course content. This has helped create a culture and shared language and familiarity with the course concepts, helping new learners communicate with peers and apply the learning in their day-to-day work. Language and topics have already been integrated and aligned into other training materials and resources provided to leaders in Operational Services.
