The Indian Health Service, Bemidji Area Office, has a need for clearinghouse services to standardize and streamline medical & dental claim submission process. Seeking a firm that can provide instant point-of-service eligibility data for 3rd party insurance databases, provide secure data transmission of all claims, provide initial data check, initial data scrubbing, rejection of claims with errors to site within the portal where rework can occur, provide drop to paper option as necessary as well as paper-required secondary submissions. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested. Pursuant to procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Solicitation Number 15-239-SOL-00020 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and should be referenced on all correspondence. The RFP document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83, effective 07/02/2015. This solicitation is a 100% full and open competition. All eligible proposals will be considered. Period of Performance: Base Year (12 months) plus four (12 month) option years.
