Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. 
The solicitation covers the replacement of the sewer line segment and the installation of new manholes at the American Ambassador’s residence in Rome, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish labor, material, and equipment to perform the work as required in the contract. This project is estimated at between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. 
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and a site visit. The date for this conference and site visit will be in the solicitation. 
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotation.
