I. OVERVIEW: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This Sources Sought notice is for market research purposes in determining interest and capability of potential small business vendors for this type of requirement only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement of supplies or services. This notice does not constitute a solicitation (e.g. Request for Proposal or Request for Quotations) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. PURPOSE: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing ("BEP") has interest in and is seeking vendors that can provide a commercial off the shelf CNC Graphite Vertical Machining Center along with associated installation and training and maintenance services. The machine shall be primarily used to cut graphite material and therefore also require an exhaust system to remove particulate. The machine shall have a minimum spindle speed of 30,000rpm and be able to hold accuracy and repeatability to less than 4 microns. The machine's working axis shall be at least 320mm x 320mm in the x and y. III. Submission Requirements: Responses to the notice shall include the following: a.
