COMBAT WATER SURVIVAL TRAINING FACILITY

The Combat Water Survival Training Facility project, managed by Navfac Mid-Atlantic under the Department of the Navy, involves the construction of specialized aquatic training infrastructure. The scope of work includes the development of an indoor combat training tank equipped with a dive tower and concrete decking, as well as an indoor underwater egress training tank featuring its own concrete decking. Additionally, the project requires the construction of a support facility for the combat training pool. To ensure operational functionality and maintenance standards, the training tanks must be outfitted with automatic filtration systems that include backwash capabilities. This forecast project is intended to enhance combat water survival capabilities through the provision of advanced, controlled underwater training environments.
