Permanently close and remove the two, 12,000 gallon (each) underground gasoline storage tanks at NNSY 237 in accordance with EPA/DEQ regulatory requirements and prepare UST closure report for submittal to Virginia DEQ. Remove the two, existing gasoline dispensers, underground fuel piping, and gasoline loading rack at NNSY 237. Disconnect UST gauges/sensors from existing Veeder-Root automatic tank gauging system in Bldg. 237 and remove/de-energize all existing electrical connections to USTs and associated equipment. Note: Due to potential EPA/DEQ requirements, emptying the tanks and transferring the existing fuel be required in a relatively short term frame. A separate contract action may be required to accomplish that. EV will provide clarity as soon as it’s available... SCOPE FY22/ DESIGN FY23/ CONST FY24(26).
