Full Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure and install items needed to expand the existing communication fiber system at Hardwood Range, Necedah WI 54646. The Government intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the above products and services to the firm Central Wisconsin Communications, LLC, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494. Note: This Company is the sole owner of the existing fiber that will be extended to Hardwood Range. Services placed in support of the network are placed by Central Wisconsin Communications, LLC. The Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DELIVERY: 20 September 2016. All responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
