Comprehensive Mechanical Systems Maintenance and Repair Services - Bronson Animal Disease Lab

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a qualified and certified vendor under solicitation ITB DAI 26 27 43 to provide comprehensive maintenance, repairs, and operational support for the Bronson Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory in Kissimmee, Florida. The scope of work includes the upkeep of HVAC, boiler, hot water, walk-in cooler, exhaust fan, pump, and building automation systems. All services must adhere to original equipment manufacturer procedures and general industry standards. The contract anticipates an initial three-year term with the possibility of three one-year renewals. A critical requirement is the ability to provide 24/7/365 on-call emergency service, with skilled technicians arriving onsite within two hours of notice for outages. The award will be based on the lowest total annual price for the initial term, provided the vendor is responsive and responsible. Preference in the award process is given to certified veteran business enterprises, businesses with drug-free workplace programs, and foreign manufacturers with a Florida factory employing over 200 people. Bids must be submitted in a sealed package by October 15, 2026, and must include a signed certification of the mandatory site visit held on September 29, 2026. The contractor is required to submit preventative maintenance reports within seven business days and service call reports within five business days of completion.
