Parks Canada seeks qualified contractors to provide crane and crane operator services on an as-needed basis along the Rideau Canal National Historic Site under a standing offer that will remain active until 31 July 2028. Bids must be submitted exclusively via fax or email to the designated channels—fax number 1-877-558-2349 or email to soumissionsest-bidseast@pc.gc.ca—with no submissions accepted through SAP ARIBA, in-person delivery, or courier. Technical and contractual inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Standing Offer Authority no later than five calendar days before the closing date. All work must comply with the National Park Act and associated regulations, and documents may be submitted in either official language, though discrepancies between English and French versions must be reported immediately. Bidders are advised to obtain all solicitation documents exclusively through the Government of Canada's tendering website, as reliance on unofficial sources is at their own risk.
