Crane Repair - Drainage

The Jefferson Parish Government is soliciting bids for the inspection and repair of cranes at the Suburban Pump Station located in Metairie, Louisiana. The scope of work specifically focuses on the P&H 25 Ton Suburban Outside Crane, requiring the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to straighten and shim the runway, rewind and replace hoist motor bearings, replace the South bridge and South West trolley motors, and replace all bumper safety cables. All work must be performed during standard business hours and must adhere to strict regulatory standards, including OSHA Par. 1910-179, CMAA Specification No. 70, ANSI B-30-16 and B-30-2, and the latest NEC Article 610. To ensure quality and long-term availability, all components must be sourced from a single OEM that is a member of CMAA or HMI. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A critical requirement for responsiveness is the submission of final insurance certificates complying with Jefferson Parish standards within ten calendar days of the bid opening. The selected vendor must provide detailed inspection reports as defined in Appendix A and provide firm written quotes for any additional repairs discovered. Final acceptance of the project must occur within 180 calendar days of the purchase order issuance, and the vendor is required to provide a two-year warranty on the work performed.
