The West Virginia Department of Agriculture is soliciting bids for an open-end Central Master Agreement to provide preventative and corrective refrigeration maintenance and repair services for the Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Charleston. The scope of work includes regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and as-needed corrective repairs for equipment such as freezers, coolers, compressors, and ice machines located at the Lakeview Dining Hall, Craft House Kitchen, and Holt Lodge Lobby. All work must be performed according to manufacturer specifications, industry best practices, and applicable codes, including the National Electric Code and International Building and Mechanical Codes. The contract is subject to a maximum payment limit of 500,000 dollars and is contingent upon legislative funding. Bidders must be manufacturer-authorized and certified to service the equipment listed in the solicitation. Key requirements include the submission of a bid bond for five percent of the total bid, a signed Drug-Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit, and a West Virginia contractor's license. Successful awardees must provide performance and labor/material payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract value, as well as commercial general liability insurance of at least 1,000,000 dollars per occurrence. The vendor must respond to service requests within 24 hours and arrive on-site within 72 hours.
