This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. The requirement is for Data Migration Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511. This requirement will be for a purchase order to include delivery of services to occur within 30 days of contract award. DESCRIPTION: The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), Silver Spring, MD, has a requirement for: - VOYAGER SOLARIS TO LINUX PLATFORM CHANGE - COPY AND INSTALL ONE VOYAGER PRODUCTION DATABASE TO NEW SERVER - COPY AND INSTALL TWO ADDITIONAL DATABASES TO NEW SERVER The services recommended by the contractor will be evaluated in how they satisfy all of the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work provided in the RFQ Instructions. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office.
