Full Description

The Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the Department of Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of US Army PMO ARL, Bluemont, VA. The army has a requirement for electronic receivers that provide a surveillance capability from 0.5 MHz to 3GHz to include digitally tuned receivers that are remotable via either an ethernet link or RS232 that can control a minimum of four (4) separate tuners. This equipment shall weigh less than 40 lbs. and operate from 0-50 deg C and require 90-240VAC prime power. This unit must be able to handle conventional and modern modulation types to include TOS. These requirements included a compact, yet powerful, surveillance capability against a variety of analog and digital wireless standards. The current requirement is for 5 complete units to include all required ancillary support equipment. Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. (DRT) is the current provider of this equipment and has successfully demonstrated acceptable performance in an operational environment. DRT is the sole manufacturer of this equipment. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, all information received within five (5) days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
