D--Notice of Intent

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quote and a solicitation will not be issued; however, all proposals received prior to the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Department of Energy intends to issue a noncompetitive modification to Task Order Number DE-DT0003246 to increase the task order ceiling price in support of activities involving the enhancement of the Trinity all-source database. This requirement was initially issued using competitive procedures. InScope International Inc. offers expertise in Trinity which supports the Nuclear Materials Information Program, a key National-level program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code is 541511; Size Standard is $25.5 million. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253 [c] [1], as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(i), all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, no later than the closing date and time of this notice.
