This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source due to a unique capability provided, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, Subpart 6.302-1, the Rock Island Contracting Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Office, intends to contract for 170, EA, and 100, EA, Hardware/Software Support for Upgrades/Patches of Oracle/Famis Server with Efficient Computing, 1032 Irving Street, #509, San Francisco, CA 94122-2216, on a sole source basis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Government's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Rock Island Contracting Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Office, 10020 Kabrich Circle, Building 17-120, CCRC-ISP, ATTN: Jennifer Johnson, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500.
