Full Description

This posting constitutes the United States Military Academy's notice of intent to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Hobsons, Inc., 50 E-Business Way, Suite 300 Cincinnati, Ohio 45241, for a renewal of the Intelliworks customer resource management (CRM) tool user license used for the West Point Admissions process. The current customer resource management tool provides a central database to: manage communications and marketing activities; manages enrollments for students, high schools, and organizations; measures the impact that improved student tracking, service, targeted communications, and lifestyle tracking can have on driving long-term value for West Point, support for a wide range of activities from inquiries to events to applications throughout the Admissions cycle; enhances operational efficiency to increase visibility into the student lifecycle from high school years to application, offer, and arrival at West Point; and includes software as a service delivery model, a licensure model that can be changed on an annual or seasonal basis, configurability and usability particular to the West Point inquiry-prospect-application mode, and ease of implementation and Higher Education focus. Also the CRM has the capability for: emailing several thousand users with email message; emailing in HTML format and support embedded graphics; "white-listing" to ensure maximum delivery success; providing metrics and analytical data of sent emails for number of messages sent, number of messages received, number of messages read, and email click through statistics on html links within the email message; integrating with Microsoft Outlook via an add-in that links messages received in/sent from Outlook client to existing entries in the CRM database and creating a new database entry for Outlook message; and importing conversations in Outlook for the CRM database's record for the email recipients/senders. In addition this requirement includes training the users on how to use the software tool. The intended period of performance for this requirement will be a one (1) year base period with two (2) one (1) year option periods. The total award amount is estimated to be $105,000.00. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 541511 and the size standard is $25M. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
