Design-Build Services For The Renovation Of Caledon Public Library - Caledon Village Branch

The Town of Caledon has issued a Negotiated Request for Proposal for design-build services to renovate the Caledon Public Library - Caledon Village Branch located at 18313 Hurontario Road. The project is structured into two distinct phases: a pre-construction services phase focused on design and construction management to develop tender drawings, and a construction services phase where the design-builder assumes sole responsibility for quality, cost, and schedule. The scope of work involves modernizing and repurposing existing square footage, including redesigning public spaces, relocating the service desk, updating washrooms to universal standards, and improving network infrastructure. Successful bidders must provide a performance bond of at least 50% of the total upset limit price and maintain commercial general liability insurance of no less than $5,000,000 per occurrence.
