In response to the absence of brick-and-mortar offices in detached locations, where U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) recruiters operate, the USCG is initiating a program to contract coworking spaces. These spaces are essential for maintaining professionalism and privacy while conducting interviews and meetings crucial for recruitment efforts. Recruiters in detached locations also have the responsibility of assessing the need for permanent recruitment presence. Providing them with dedicated workspaces supports day-to-day activities and aids in evaluating the necessity for long-term recruitment resources.
