Determine Interest from Community Organizations and Private Sector Entities to Support the Construction, Financing and / or Operations of an Indoor Sports Facility in Brantford (Jaycee Sport Park)

The City of Brantford has issued Expression of Interest 2026-95 to identify qualified community organizations and private sector entities to partner in the construction, financing, and operations of a new indoor sports facility at Jaycee Sport Park. The project involves the development of a 60,000 square foot air-supported dome structure featuring three flexible indoor turf fields of FIFA quality, LED sports lighting, and computer-controlled HVAC and inflation systems. Interested parties must submit their responses electronically via the City's bidding system by September 18, 2026. Respondents can apply under three categories: Category A for construction, financing, and operations; Category B for construction and financing; or Category C for operations and management. Submissions must include corporate qualifications, senior personnel credentials, and a statement of willingness to provide auditable evidence of financial capacity. Any selected operator must adhere to the City of Brantford Parks and Recreation Allocation Policy, ensuring priority access for local teams and residents.
