Digital Evidence Request for Information

The Business Technology Services division of Florida, based in Clearwater, has issued a Request for Information under solicitation number 26-0795-RFI to identify a comprehensive digital evidence management solution. The objective is to implement a system that supports court staff, judges, attorneys, and self-represented litigants in managing the full lifecycle of digital evidence and exhibits. Key functional requirements include secure submission, review, storage, chain of custody tracking, reporting, retention management, and authorized destruction. The solution must be versatile enough to support various case types and hearing workflows, including both in-person and remote proceedings, while integrating with existing court systems. Interested parties must submit their responses by October 1, 2026. Compliance with specific Florida legal mandates is required, including the submission of a Foreign Countries of Concern Affidavit to certify that the contractor is not controlled by a foreign government of concern, a Human Trafficking Affidavit attesting to the non-use of coerced labor, and a Common Carrier Attestation affirming that the contractor does not knowingly transport unauthorized aliens into the state.
