The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO) is the frontline of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) protecting the United States from terrorists and instruments of terror while enforcing the laws of the United States. The CBP National Targeting Center (NTC) and Electronic Device Search and Enforcement Activities (EDSEA) hold the responsibility of providing policy, resources, and training to support field offices and agents in the arena of digital forensics. The Digital Forensics Program is responsible for providing policy and support to mission-critical digital evidence extractions conducted by agents. OFO/NTC/EDSEA seeks to procure various hardware, software licenses, and training to support the expansion and critical needs of its Digital Forensic Program.
