The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its Technology Acquisition Center, is conducting market research via a Request for Information (RFI) to shape a future acquisition for a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) Consolidated Document Control System for VISN 23. The system must support over 800 users across 14 sites, with capabilities spanning document lifecycle management including creation, review, approval, archiving, version control, automated workflows, and audit trails. It must also provide tools for accreditation readiness for standards such as CAP, CLIA, JC, FDA, and AABB, as well as training and competency tracking for continuing education credits. The solution must be fully operational within 30 business days of award and is contemplated under a firm-fixed-price contract with a base period of 12 months running from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, and four additional 12-month option periods, for a total potential duration not exceeding five years.
