NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF LEAGUE CITY, TEXAS Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, September 23, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud for the following project: Dallas Salmon Waste Water Treatment Plant – Miscellaneous Improvements CIP # WW2103C Bid #26-048 The project consists of the following scope of work: Dewatering and pressure wash cleaning of all Aeration Basins in preparation of FRP launder replacement. Replacement of existing FRP Launders at the inlet and outlet sides of Aeration Basins with new T-304 Stainless Steel launders. Installation of launder edge fall protection system. The design flows for each of the Aeration Basins are 4.5 MGD on average and 12 MGD at 2-hour peak flow. Dewatering and pressure wash cleaning of Clarifier Distribution Splitter Box in preparation for Stop Gate replacement. Replacement of existing Stop Gates located at the Clarifier Distribution Splitter Box with new 304 Stainless Steel Slide Gates. Addition of new cantilevered grating platform and handrail to Clarifier Distribution Box for access to both sides of the gates. Modification to structural grating and structural grating supports on top of Clarifier Distribution Splitter Box to clear new self-contained Slide Gates. Replacement of existing Belt Press Wash Water Booster Pump System, which includes new pumps, motors, valves, DI piping and PVC piping. Installation of new items on a pre-fabricated carbon steel fusion bonded epoxy coating structural pump skid and new engineered pipe supports. Replacement of Switchboard DS-2 within the ATS and Bus Duct modifications and other related electrical improvements. A optional pre-bid conference will be held September 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm, at the City of League City, Civic Center, 400 W. Walker St., League City, Texas 77573. The pre-bid conference will be followed by a site visit at 703 N. Wisconsin Ave., League City, Texas 77573. Prospective Bidders are invited to attend. Failure to attend will bar Bidders. The cutoff for questions will be 5:00 pm on Monday, September 14, 2026. Bids may be submitted electronically through www.PublicPurchase or sealed hard copy bids submitted with, one marked original, one marked copy, properly labeled and clearly marked with the Bid number and description, directed to City of League City, Office of the Purchasing Manager, 300 W. Walker St., League City, Texas77573. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids sent via courier must be sealed in a separate envelope inside of the mailer. Bid documents may be obtained from http://leaguecitytx.gov/bids.aspx as well as www.CivcastUSA.com, search League City, Galveston County. Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download specifications, plans, and bid documents for this project. There is NO charge to view or download documents. All inquiries about this bid or specifications must be made in writing to the League City Purchasing Department, at purchasing@leaguecitytx.gov. The City shall not be responsible for any verbal communication between any employee of the City and any potential bidder. Only written requirements and qualifications will be addressed.
