Action Code: Pre-solicitation Notice NAICS Code: 236220 Subject: East Gate Canopy and Inspection Facility Repair Solicitation Number: W91238-19-R-0049 Set Aside: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Place of Performance: Hill AFB, UT JOB DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall construct a steel frame weather canopy at traffic check house Bldg. 605 to have standing seam metal roof to match existing; Construct prescribed protective features under proposed canopy to allow for the defense of the gate if attacked; Provide area lighting, all required asphalt paving for two new traffic lanes in and one traffic lane out. Also provide asphalt paving for a vehicle inspection lane and one vehicle rejection turn around lane; Provide all required pavement striping. Provide all concrete curb and gutters in conjunction with new paving; Provide an in-bound traffic calming system as per current Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-022-01. Replace the existing chain link gate with two new chain link swinging gates; one for inbound traffic and one for out-bound; Modify perimeter fence to accommodate new gates as required in order to conform with UFC 4-022-01; Provide a generator for emergency backup power to existing pop-up vehicle wedge barriers and construct a permanent enclosure for this generator composed of reinforced concrete footings, foundation, insulated masonry walls and insulated standing seam metal roof; Construct a vehicle over watch facility as per UFC 4-022-01; Provide all supporting utilities, communication support, and site improvements for a complete and usable facility. This acquisition is proceeding as a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable RFP. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 per FAR 36.204(f). Period of Performance (POP) for Construction (after NTP): 365 Days This Procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code: 236220. Construction of Institutional Buildings. The size standard for this code is $39,500,000.00.
