Purpose:


The Army Contracting Command (ACC) New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of Program Manager, Howitzer Systems to identify potential sources for a new electric forklift.


Description:


This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of PM-Howitzer Systems. To help the Government evaluate market capability, interested vendors should demonstrate how their proposed equipment meets or exceeds the following draft specifications:


  • Equipment Type: Sit-down style rider forklift
  • Power Source: 100% Electric, powered by a maintenance-free Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery
  • Lift Capacity: 3,000 lbs. to 4,000 lbs. capacity range
  • Mast Type: Three-stage (Triplex) mast
  • Maximum Lift Height: Minimum 14 feet (168 inches)
  • Forks & Carriage: Must include standard 42-inch length forks and an integrated side-shifter for lateral adjustment of the forks without moving the truck

Participation in this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) is completely voluntary by the vendor and as such all costs to develop the vendor’s response are to be borne by the participating vendor.
