Please note that late submissions will not be considered or accepted. The User Department referred to throughout the TOR is Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR). POLAR is accountable for efficiently managing real property assets. In addressing this mandate, POLAR undertakes evaluations of its real property inventory and has a need for a Level 2 (L2) Building Condition Report with detailed technical and financial information to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) UNIFORMAT II – E1557-09 (R2020), Level 4 for the CHARS base buildings and for base building systems which impact laboratory systems/equipment to be developed. This RFP details the Required Services necessary to deliver a Building Condition Report (BCR) and related studies, including Legionella Assessments, Seismic Screening, Facility Condition Index (FCI) Scenario Analysis, and Thermography Assessments, over a 25-year life cycle, for five (5) buildings noted in 1.2.3.2, for Polar Knowledge Canada at the Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS) in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. A Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (CRiVA) report for the CHARS facility is also a requirement of this RFP.
