Bid #BRLO-5936(093): The project involves providing professional civil engineering design services for the complete replacement of the existing three-span, 71-foot-long Fern Drive Bridge (No. 36C-0071) over the San Lorenzo River. The existing bridge is structurally deficient and functionally obsolete. The new structure will be a 2-lane concrete bridge with new roadway approaches, meeting current Caltrans, AASHTO, and federal standards. The project is federally funded through the Highway Bridge Program (HBP). The selected consultant will develop the Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) and provide support during the bidding and construction phases. Work includes project management, survey, geotechnical investigations, hydraulic reports, utility coordination, and environmental support.
