Fire Alarm Monitoring Services

The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, specifically Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, is soliciting proposals for comprehensive fire alarm monitoring services for its facilities. The selected contractor will provide 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, 365-day-a-year monitoring of fire alarms, trouble, supervisory, sprinkler waterflow, and tamper switch signals through a UL-listed central monitoring station. Key responsibilities include the immediate notification of emergency responders and designated personnel, maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm infrastructure, and strict compliance with NFPA 72 and other local, state, and federal regulations. Deliverables include detailed communication logs, audio recordings of all monitoring events, incident reports, and updated equipment inventories. The contract is structured as a five-year agreement, with pricing submitted via a specific cost spreadsheet that remains firm for the first year. Award decisions will be based on a best value assessment, considering both the lowest cost and the offeror's demonstrated capacity, experience, and financial resources. Proposals must be submitted through the iSupplier system by September 15, 2026. Awarded vendors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance within fifteen working days of acceptance and must adhere to strict cybersecurity and data integrity standards.
