Fire Truck Lease (Laughlin AFB, TX)

The U.S. Air Force, through the Department of Defense at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, is seeking a small business to lease one Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle under a Firm-Fixed Price contract, with the procurement set aside entirely for small businesses under FAR 19.5 and NAICS code 532490. The vehicle must meet strict technical specifications including a 4x4 chassis, a minimum water capacity of 1,500 gallons, a minimum foam capacity of 200 gallons, a water pump rated at no less than 750 gpm, a diesel 8-cylinder engine, and a minimum 100-pound PKP dry chemical tank, with full compliance to NFPA 414 standards for lights and sirens. The base contract is for a four-month lease period beginning July 7, 2026, with two optional four-month extensions available through July 6, 2027. Performance is FOB destination at Laughlin AFB, with the vendor responsible for delivery of the vehicle to the designated location and all maintenance related to normal wear and tear, while the government handles daily checks and preventative fluid and air maintenance.
