Flight Autonomy (FA) & Safety-Critical Systems

This subcontract with the Naval Air Systems Command focuses on the development and integration of safety-critical Flight Autonomy systems for US Navy Collaborative Combat Aircraft projects. The scope of work involves creating autonomous skills for the launch, flight, and recovery phases while utilizing flight control computers and safety-critical software kernels to achieve necessary Navy Airworthiness Certification. A primary requirement of the contract is ensuring strict compliance with MIL-STD-882E to maintain risk levels below 1E. The successful provider will be responsible for delivering the final flight autonomy software along with all required airworthiness documentation to the prime contractors.
