AI Contract Overview
The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking expressions of interest for developing, operating, and maintaining a food and/or beverage concession at the Café Building located within the MADE Bush Terminal Campus in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Interested parties may also propose incorporating the adjacent Administration Building into their business concepts. The initiative aims to secure a tenant to become an anchor for the 43rd Street waterfront corridor and solicit proposals regarding preferred approaches for the building’s design, renovation, fit-out, and financial deal structures for operating the concession. A key emphasis is placed on promoting equitable access and encouraging participation from diverse businesses, particularly certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs). Respondents should note that this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is not a contract award but a preliminary step to gather valuable input that will inform a subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) expected to be issued in 2025. NYCEDC may limit RFP eligibility to RFEI respondents depending on the RFEI's outcome. The organization emphasizes compliance with all anti-discrimination laws and encourages M/WBE-certified businesses to apply. Detailed submission guidelines were made available starting March 7, 2025, and proposals must be submitted by April 18, 2025, via an electronic upload in a specified format. Further information and contact details for inquiries are provided by NYCEDC.
