The Department of the Treasury, specifically the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, is seeking a non-competitive furniture rental agreement with CORT Furniture Outlet to address critical seating shortages at its Santa Ana, California office. Following a merger with the OTS and a Return to Office executive order, the facility currently lacks sufficient workspace, with only 10 available spots for 29 assigned employees. To quickly and economically expand capacity, the agency intends to rent professional furniture and sit/stand desks that align with OCC branding. This sole source justification, identified by solicitation number 20731JW27P00001, specifies an estimated contract value of 30,642.24 dollars. The agreement covers a two-year period of performance to provide the necessary workstations and private office equipment. The seating capacity of the OCC’s Santa Ana office is insufficient for all employees assigned to that office. The Santa Ana office was formerly an OTS office. We acquired this office when OTS merged with the OCC. The office is comprised of 8 private offices and 2 workstations. With the Return to Office (RTO) executive order, the Santa Ana office has insufficient seating. There are 29 employees assigned to the Santa Ana office; the current location has 10 workspaces available. The quickest and most economical way to stand up space is to rent furniture for two years. CORT furniture has prepared a furniture plan and proposal for the rental of furniture for two years.
