The agreements will cover the period from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, with an option for the government to extend the contract annually for up to four additional years. Services required encompass a broad range of treatment areas including urine collection and testing, case management, various assessments and counseling for substance abuse, mental health, co-occurring disorders, and sex offenses, as well as polygraph exams, physicals, outpatient and inpatient detoxification, medication, residential placement, and transportation costs. Interested providers must submit their expression of interest via email, providing agency details and specifying the service catchment areas they wish to cover. The solicitation for proposals will be available starting June 18, 2026, on the agency’s website. Service providers must demonstrate the capability to provide services within their selected geographic areas, employ qualified professionals, and offer competitive pricing that meets or beats the rates charged to their best customers in comparable contracts. The notice identifies specific counties and treatment types for FY 2025 solicitations, and providers are encouraged to register with SAM.gov to facilitate participation and electronic payments. The US Probation Office emphasizes that responding to the pre-solicitation does not obligate providers or the government but aims to gauge interest and readiness for the upcoming competitive procurement process.
