NATURE OF REQUIREMENT:
The Accessible Canada Directorate (ACD) of the Income Security and Social Development Branch at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) is seeking the services of a contractor to develop and produce videos of sign language translations and interpretations for whole publications and/or sections of its publications as required. The contractor must produce American Sign Language (ASL) and Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ) videos for a multi-year task-based audio-visual contract - that will take place annually over fiscal years 2025-2026, 2026-2027 and 2027-2028.
The successful bidder must produce ASL and LSQ videos for each heading or section of a given report or document. Each video should be one (1) to three (3) minutes in length. The scope of the services covered by the requirement are detailed in the Annex Statement of Work. The target audiences for these live action videos are persons who are Deaf or hard of hearing and who use ASL or LSQ as their primary language and form of communication.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
There are no security requirements associated with this requirement. The requirement is not subject to the provisions of Trade Agreement. The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
