Grissom ARB Airshow - Golf Cart RentalsThe Department of Defense, specifically the United States Air Force Reserve Command at Grissom Air Reserve Base in Indiana, is conducting market research to identify potential vendors capable of providing a short-term rental fleet of fifty gas-powered golf carts for the 2026 Grissom ARB Airshow. The requirement includes ten utility golf carts with cargo beds and forty passenger golf carts with four-seat capacity. All vehicles must be equipped with headlights, taillights, sun canopies, and windshields, and must be safe for use on grass, gravel, and tarmac surfaces. The anticipated rental period spans from August 24 to September 1, 2026, with strict delivery and pickup windows at the Base Operations location. Security protocols require delivery and pickup personnel to pass background checks and vehicle inspections due to the secure nature of the installation. The Government will handle daily refueling during the event and vehicles will not need to be returned with full fuel tanks. Interested vendors are asked to submit a capability statement no longer than three pages, including company details, socio-economic status, confirmation of meeting vehicle specifications and logistics requirements, and optionally, a rough order of magnitude pricing to assist government budgeting. All responses must be submitted electronically by June 16, 2026, and inquiries via phone will not be accepted. This solicitation is strictly a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes and does not commit the Government to any contract or payment for responses. This effort is aimed at gathering information to support planning and decision-making for the upcoming airshow.
