Granite Curb - HWY

The County of Ontario, Department of Public Works, is soliciting sealed bids for solicitation B27009 to provide all labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of granite curbs at various county buildings. The scope of work is strictly limited to the installation of near vertical face curbs, traversable sloped curbs, and sloped granite transition curbs, with the county remaining responsible for excavation, disposal, backfill, and traffic control. All work must be performed in accordance with NYSDOT Standard Specifications, specifically sections 609 and 714-01. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on a group lump-sum basis. Work is required to commence within 21 days of notification, and the county reserves the right to renew the agreement for up to two twelve-month periods. Bids must be submitted in hard copy via sealed envelope to the Ontario County Purchasing Director in Canandaigua, New York, by 11:00 am on October 21, 2026; electronic submissions will be disqualified. Required documentation includes a completed bid form and schedule, a signed and notarized non-collusion affidavit, a bidder's statement on sexual harassment, NYS DOL certification, a stormwater discharge statement, and an IRS W-9. Awarded vendors must comply with New York State and federal prevailing wage laws under PRC number 2026027538 and provide certified payrolls every 30 days to receive payment. Additionally, vendors must provide proof of liability, workers' compensation, and disability insurance from an A.M. Best A rated or better insurer. For projects exceeding 250,000 dollars, all workers must have completed OSHA 10 safety training.
