A total of 40 units are required—30 to be delivered to CFB Halifax, Nova Scotia, and 10 to CFB Esquimalt, British Columbia—with delivery mandatory on a Delivery Duty Paid basis, meaning the supplier assumes all costs and risks including import duties and transit to the final destination. Bidders may propose equivalent or substitute products but must fully disclose the brand, model, part number, and NCAGE of the alternate item. Offerors must comply with stringent Canadian Forces packaging and marking standards, including D-LM-008-001/SF-001 for Canadian suppliers, MIL-STD-2073 for U.S.-based suppliers, and NATO TL8100-0100 for EU suppliers, with specific requirements for ESD protective packaging, antifriction bearing packaging, and palletization using 1.22m x 1.02m wood pallets with four-way forklift access and a maximum height limit of 1.19m. Each item must be clearly marked with manufacturer details, part number, specification, cure date, manufacturing date, expiration date, and serial number, stamped or etched for durability, and labeled per DND’s D-LM-008-002/SF-001 standard. Barcoding must follow the UCC/EAN-128 standard with Application Identifiers 241 for PSCN and 7001 for NSN, in compliance with D-02-002-001/SG-001.
