Design-Bid-Build construction contract to replace solar powered parking/walkway lights with electrically hardwired lights. Solar lighting was installed by Project Numbers P006 Fitness Center, R1-1807 Elrod Road, and R1-2002 Poynter Road. The solar lights have failed resulting with inadequate lighting and hazardous conditions in parking lots and walkways. There have been numerous complaints about the inadequate lighting. The solar lights from varying manufacturers are obsolete and replacement parts are not available.
