Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solution (CHESS)contract - Item peculiar to one manufacturer (a particular brand-name, product, or a feature of a product that is peculiar to one manufacturer) [FAR 16.505(a)(4)]. HP Equipment Software and Hardware Support. The vendor shall provide all technical service; licensing, software, plant, labor, parts and material required to physically and electrically repair and update existing HP equipment located at Tobyhanna Army Depot. The vendor shall ensure that unit, upon repair/upgrade is operational and performs/functions to the Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) specifications. Continued HP hardware/software support is required to meet Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) requirements in order to maintain TYAD's Authority to Operate (ATO).
